She was born in Rome and she graduated in law at the University of Genoa with honours. She practiced in Genoa, Hamburg and New York and she has been the Owner of her law firm based in Rome since 1999. She has been also Of Counsel of R&P Legal since 2014.
She is a lawyer with a broad experience in maritime and transportation law and in international trade as well as in civil law.
Her main Clients are primary companies of the oil and gas industry, of the food industry and of the production industry, associations in the shipping, marine and transportation insurance companies.
She is ranked by Chambers Europe for the Shipping in Italy. She has been the exclusive contributor of Lexology in Italy for shipping.
She enrolled in the Bar in 1999 and she has been admitted to defend before the Supreme Court in 2011.
She has been a contract Professor of sea legislation at the Rome University La Sapienza from years 2005-2006 till years 2009 -2010.
She has been a Member of the General Committee of Complesso Integrato Columbus of the Cattolica University of Milan.
She has been the Vice President of the Association Maredonna (Marevivo), member of the board of Consorzio Regionale ICTLAZIO S.c.p.a, Counsellor and then Vice President of WISTA Italia (Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association), member of the board of editors of the journal “Le Assicurazioni Trasporti”.
She has been a Member of the ICC Italian working Group for the revision of Incoterms 2000 and Incoterms 2010.
She has been the speaker at various conferences on issues concerning maritime and transportation law and the author of various articles published on both Italian and foreign journals.
She renders her activity in both Italian and English languages.
